"I employed Ty Fleming ''Allied Damp Solutions'' in spring 2017, to look at a problem I was having with damp and mould in my apartment in Ballsbridge. It had been an ongoing problem, with paint jobs to try to cover, with mould increasing...and now spreading to more walls. I was at my wits end. Another non specialist contractor had suggested putting in windows with vents that "should" help the problem... he offered no assurance or guarantee whatsoever for the price he quoted. Ty , on the other hand was more than expert in the way he appraised the problem, and came up with solutions. He assured me the vented windows, would not be a solution and that recycling the internal air to the outside , using a duct system for air flow was the only solution to fully resolve the problem, once and for all. Ty and his men worked incredibly hard to put the system in place...and had to accommodate for a very old building, and difficult work conditions to get the job completed. Ty was more than helpful, and readily came up with solutions there and then. Bit of a wizard with solutions. As I am living abroad, I really had to trust that Ty would treat the job with great care, as though it was his own apartment, as I wasn't there to oversee. Ty's experience working in this field for years, was vital. The other quote I got was from a regular building contractor, who obviously did not really understand the issue, and though passive airflow was enough to resolve. I am really thankful to Ty and his men for solving this issue for me. Am so grateful I no longer have to worry about the mould issue from here on in . Ty really knows what he is doing. "Myself and my wife moved in to our new house in 2007 and almost immediately we realised that the house suffered from mould. The bathrooms and bedrooms were really bad and even the blinds were turning black. The attic had serious water runs on felt and we had to cover everything with plastic to keep it dry.
